Class materials for May 21-22, 2013

Okay, this week is a little tricky, so I need you to pay careful attention and follow the instructions exactly.

Be that as it may...

FOR EVERYBODY:

You were to find a public scene and describe it in one paragraph

Bring your paragraph.

Also bringthis filled out. You should have it already, if not download, print and fill out BEFORE class.

It's about job interviewing.

FOR TUESDAY GROUP:

You'll need to look up a potential job and bring the position, title and required skills with you to class.

FOR WEDNESDAY GROUP:

Print and bring your "Tell Me About Yourself" blurb that you emailed Ms. Johnson a few weeks back.

There that wasn't so bad was it?

Yeah, thought so.

Finally, this Friday (May 24) I will have extra office hours from

13.30 – 18.30 (209b)

Why?

Class materials for May 14-15, 2013

First, print and bring these pictures (nb different from last week's).

Second, AND IMPORTANT!

This week we have a special guest lecturer

This means I don't want any of this...

or this.

Instead I want this

or even this!

I told our guest lecturer you were good, hardworking students, don't make me a liar!

If you disappoint me I'll have to call up my bully squad to make fun of your clothes

or bring in Spike to have little talk with you.

See you Tuesday and Wednesday!

Class for May 7, 2013 (and office hours for May 8, 2013)

Okay for Tuesday's class, print and bring this.

Please note:

I've also decided that I'm not going to actively participate in Sports Day.

The bright side is I'll be having office hours from 10.00 until 15.00.

Come to 209b, if I'm elsewhere there will be a message there.

Show up and keep me busy!

Class for April 30, 2013

There is none!

Instead, I'm having office hours from 11.45 to 16.15.

I might be in:

209b, the usual classrooms (322 from 11.45-13.15  and 118 from 13.30-15.00), or I may be in the computer room (313ab). When in doubt look at the door for 209b.

Class materials for April 23-24, 2013

For this week you'll need this.

Which will help you make sense of this....

BONUS! Ferrets in the news!

And a ferret in a costume.

That is all.
